Welcome Guest!
All Auxiliary units within the Ninth District Western Region are strongly encouraged to create and maintain websites that promote Auxiliary missions and services to the public as well as provide program information to their members. Our goal is for 100% of the units in the Ninth District Western Region to have at least a minimum web presence. This Communications Services Portal will provide the necessary guidance to get started on this important task.
In the past, creating an Auxliary unit website required the appointment of a CS officer who possessed the necessary technical skills for creating and maintaining a website. In many cases it was difficult, if not impossible, to find such individuals within the Auxiliary. Thus, many Auxiliary units had to forego the benefits of having a website.
It is still possible to for a CS officer to develop a website the "old" way (which we call the Classic Platform); however, it is no longer necessary to develop a website using the Classic Platform due to the availability of a fantastic tool, the WOW Platform.
With the WOW Platform, the CS officer can quickly and easily bring a website online in a matter of minutes. In addition, maintaining the WOW platform website requires very little time. For those units without a CS officer, the unit Commander, Vice Commander, PA officer, or PB officer can access and maintain the unit's website.
Whether you select to use the Classic Platform or the WOW Platform for you unit's website, thank you for helping use achieve the goal of 100% of the Ninth District Western Region units having at least a minimum webpresence. If your unit already has a website, thank you fo all of your hard work and dedication to both this goal and the support of the Auxiliary's missions and services.
