9WR PA Social Media Training Syllabus

The following course curriculum has been developed to support 9WR Public Affairs Officers as they create and build social media presences on various platforms. This training is optional for our members and, with the exception of documented errata, does not supersede any information or directives provided in the official Coast Guard or USCG Auxiliary Social Media guidance that exists today and in the future.

All efforts put forth shall be exclusively for the promotion and support of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, the US Coast Guard, and their missions both within the organizations and for the benefit of the general public.

Public Affairs, Publications, and Communication Officers and their respective Units are encouraged to use this material as guidance and support to build and reinforce the skills of our membership. Likewise, the 9WR Public Affairs Team encourages Members to forward on any questions, updates, corrections, or improvements for the material so they can be addressed and incorporated into this collection.
